Step by Step
A few impressions of the last meeting of D & D, which was dedicated to the dungeon crawls.

The long-sealed chamber, now opened by the short fire-breathing villain, along with the Golem reception committee. The storm built up at the second barricade of heroes, made up of marbles and crows feet, it has not make it to the photo.

When and where did you fall of your best ideas?
Very few of my creative ideas are born at my desk. This is one of the reasons why I'm rather rare in my office.
deliver Although many books, folders and of course the internet in my office actually a plethora of ideas, my inspiration for innovative ideas is more often a walk through nature - without books, without internet, but with a free head!
Recently I have experienced on the trip to the winter holidays, it went off in my head: There were ideas, fresh ideas, motivation and drive. I not know what others do on a long car ride, but the every day behind us laser- need to get my wife and me on such trips every now and again (but do it intentionally) have the best ideas in mind. to refuel
The goal of the holiday to come to rest, new motivation and energy, was met after the outward journey. Actually I had when we arrived in Schruns (A) again to start the work. But the sun, the snow, the beloved slopes, the unfamiliar surroundings and the rides alone on the chair provided for many more inspiring and motivating factors.

This is often in my nature (forest, lake), but also a street café or even a car to be.
- openness unexpected sources of inspiration for .
with a difference suggests a lot of my creativity rather than the familiar. A movie releases often from new ideas or a conference, an unusual encounter a strange place to me so far ...
- looking broadening horizons in everyday life.
To discover new things, must " outside the box" thinking. Require innovation and inspiration that I try to go beyond the familiar framework.

Pathways # 1 - A free magazine for Pathfinder
Those who are interested in the Pathfinder and d20 PDF products for small publishers, almost certainly knows the name Rite Publishing , such as the 101 series or Monster Templates .
Pathways is the new free magazine around the house - you guessed it - Pathfinder. The first issue weighs just under 35 megabytes and covers (including cover) 56 pages, of which 10 pages of pure advertising. The format includes the familiar ingredients of role-playing game magazines: articles, interviews, reviews of new game material and products.
I think the magazine is a great idea for a free product and the quality is really good. I have previously noticed no spelling errors, the layout is beautiful to look at. Especially the one I like is the big interview with other Pathfinder compatible publishers, a successful Entry into this scene for a first edition and, second, the included game statistics for the fat devil on the cover.

goes after some delay it further in the portfolio of Inked Adventures , because now there 3D Furniture for dungeons. These were - somewhat hidden - in the announcement upcoming products mentioned, but they have to find the interesting details Crypts, Tombs and Catacombs perhaps slightly below.
3D Furniture For Dungeons includes a set of different furniture with wood texture, in contrast to the previous 2.5D lens Dungeon Tiles are the cut out and assemble them into boxes. Unlike tokens, as currently (again) polulär, 3D objects, of course, give a very different sense of space innterhalb a dungeon. Some may be bothered by it, that now the walls flat and volumes are soaring, but this Freiräumigkeit I find very liberating - especially for games like D & D, where one point during a Encounterspiels umpteen times figures pushed in and and "real" 3D walls would be anything but helpful.
The set consists of two bookshelf, two chests, a large table with two benches, six beds and two small tables with six chairs. This is just a beginning, though there has been so designed shelters for the Goblintruppen or the reading room of the Necromancer.

The author of Inked Adventures me some time ago a preliminary version of Crypts, Tombs and Catacombs come, of which I have used some parts for The Sunless Citadel , which I lead now in a round . Unfortunately, there is not a good photo from the session, only this one where you can coyly hint in the background the new sarcophagus:
I've printed all the Dungeon Tiles on photo paper so that it was quite sarcophagi process well, with normal printer paper would be become quite a slaughter. So I can only recommend that you print 3D Furniture For Dungeons on photo paper or cardboard in order to save trouble in the assembly.
