Severe Pain Ice Skates
There are more important things in life than constantly to increase its speed.
MAHATMA GANDHI, Indian politician (1869 - 1948)
In our busy society time and again the talk of "work-life balance. I like the concept is not so good. It sounds as if on the one hand, the work and life on the other - and both with each other in battle. I would say: If the work is no longer part of life, we have already lost!
why I speak of "life balance" or even "Life in Balance". My life that encompasses everything. The five life tasks together make a whole:
- work - my professional career
- love - partnership, family (children, parents)
- Society of Friends, my volunteer work, club, political
- self - time for me, my Hobbies, sports, my body, nutrition and relaxation
- spirituality - meaning of life
What about my life balance? A little exercise will help to find this: do you have for each of the five areas of life four Duplo bricks. Now build your tower! How satisfied are you with the area of "work"? Duplo
a stone = very dissatisfied, 4 = very satisfied stones, totally fulfilled.
Now ask yourself this question for each of the areas:
- What about my relationship?
- In my experience the community with others?
- I look good to myself?
- And I recognize the sense of my being and doing?
Now look at your Duplo tower. Are they satisfied with what you see? Where change is called for?
Life is a balancing act. Balanced we live if we all 5 areas of life have in mind, no one dominates and no one comes to very short.
In-depth with the theme "Life in Balance " deal would, in my blog refers to pulses, for example in the article " work was his life . Together with my wife, I also offer timeout Weekends .
"meaning of life: something that nobody knows any event, it has little sense of. richest man in the cemetery to be "

Ambien Combined With Welbrutrin
In the last post I mentioned the Pathfinder again triggered by a series of publications were d20. A very ambitious in this regard P0rojekt Trail Blazers is Bad Axe Games . Behind this label are Benjamin Durbin and Christopher Neveu, the visitors of the ENWorld forum are known and possibly involved with the Grim Tales already Supplements produced with good reviews.
Trail Blazer is understood as a so-called System Optimizer, which applies just as official errata or expanded rules from the Core Rules on Supplements is. It is interesting that Trail Blazer fans of both 3.5 and Pathfinder will be usable. There are new versions of all d20 basic classes, revised Feats, Action Points and various small mechanical changes in the control structure. To quote from the announcement on the official website:
Trail Blazer does not present "change for change's sake." Every change is a direct response to real problems raised by players in our own games and by the larger gaming community. Trail Blazers tackles problems big and small:
- the power curve, the "accident of math," and the "sweet spot"
- DM prep time
- CR / EL / XP and encounter design
- smoother, faster combat resolution
- class balance
- multi-class spellcasters
- overhauling the skill system
- annoyances like grappling, turn undead, movement 1-2-1, and attacks of opportunity
- "The 15-Minute Adventuring Day
begins immediately after the introduction Trail Blazers with" The Spine "where the basic structure of the d20 system is explained. There are juggled figures and tables, and shown where the player classes, the Core Rules are too strong / weak. Even for people like me who have not got anything with math (do), this is a very interesting breakdown and really worth reading for their own understanding in general and the system changes from Trail Blazers in particular.
One of the other changes is the new Base Magic Bonus (BMB), which are uniformly applicable to all classes Caster level Spells per Day and Spells Prepared regulates .* confusion about magic in multi-class characters, thus the past - a really good idea.
The chapter "Combat" is a real gem, because here indeed but just saying all sorts of maneuvers (Combat Reactions), and set of action types on the size of the combatants and special attacks to know all the wounds Things gone through. Click to change Trailblazer some things, like Attacks of Opportunity, but there are also many unaltered rules - but very well together and quickly available in the game.
In summary, I recommend above all the Trail Blazer players and DMs who are dissatisfied with the standard rules with the above points and simplified some things and want to see changed. One must unfortunately buy the Trail Blazers in the Player's Handbook, do not take a total replacement, but I think it can be much better use and into the game to incorporate not as isolated rule changes from other sources, their consequences on other ranges have been fully thought out and formulated.
Trailblazer is available as a PDF and as Print (via amazon.com), the PDF will cost just $ 5 more times.
* I do not own a German book of D & D, so I usually specific terms used in English since I do not know how the translation reads.

Lorna Morgan Before And After Pregnancy
This morning I was engaged with one of those stories that Jesus told to explain God's nature and its "rules". It is the story of the workers in the vineyard. Somehow a funny story ...
1 "The kingdom of heaven is like a wine grower, early morning recruited workers for his vineyard. 2 He agreed with them on the usual daily wage and let them work in his vineyard. 3 A few hours later he went standing around again to the market place and saw people who were unemployed. 4 And he sent them into his vineyard, and promised them a fair wage. 5 For the lunch time and about three clock in the afternoon, he still had one more worker. 6 When he came at five in the city clock, he saw again a few people standing around doing nothing. He asked, 'Why did not you work today? " 7 'We have no one wanted, "she replied. 'Go and help with but also in my vineyard, "he called them. 8 On the evening he asked his manager: 'Call the people together and paying them from the payroll! Catch the last one, and listen to the First! " 9 First, then came the last set, and each of them got the full day's pay. 10 Now the other workers said, they would get more. But they were all within the agreed daily wage. 11 Then they complained to the wine: 12 'These people have worked for only an hour and you pay them the same as us. We have toiled all day in the scorching sun! " 13 'My friend', said the wine one of them, 'you done it no wrong! Have not we agreed on that amount? 14 Take your money and go! I want the others to pay as much as you. 15 Finally, I can surely do with my money, what I want! Or are you angry because I am generous? " (The Bible, Matthew, from 20.1 to 15)
Three things strike me:
- God for the work: he wants us to get involved and not "stand around idle" must. Everyone needs opportunities to participate.
- God gives us (Be) respect and value: Even if one ignored by all others ("We would have no one '), is a task for him, is integrated.
- God leads his firm on the principle of "performance-independent elements of pay." In other words, God does not give us after our performance, but presents to the people for his generous heart. What
question is how we treat our fellow-workers: I see in others only a "cost-benefit factor" (What it do for me if I'm that person to care What good is this friendship?) Or equivalent counterpart, which is genaso (Be) wants and deserves respect, as I do?
Is God unjust if it all endowed equally generous - regardless of performance? God, the anti-cheaters: He can not help all to bestow generously to join his "company".
