were recently my wife and I as talking to a radio program around the theme of "time-out instead of burnout " invited. The roughly hour-long program gives here. To show I've put together a fact sheet, which I share now here in my blog motivation. Now here comes the second part:
How do I know if I have a burnout?
- Honest location determination and self-assessment
- the accumulation of burnout symptoms? I find myself for a long time in a "downward spiral"?.
- Himself a "mirror can hold" - From caregivers or coach.
- Am I unfit for a long time to charge my batteries?
- Important: Not all fatigue is a Burnout!
What do I do if I put in a burnout?
- not play down the situation!
- Must Seek medical attention and / or therapist.
- allow yourself time to the recovery process (often several months are necessary).
What to do when I'm standing in the risk of running into a burnout?
- stopping: To admit that things can not continue.
- energy management: What does it cost power, which gives me energy?
- What changes are needed so that my life is balanced? define
- conditions and limitations (eg: One day a week without the "obligations")
- I manage the "turnaround" alone or do I need any help?
How can I prevent a burnout?
- regularly reflect on our own everyday lives.
- timeouts schedule. create
- framework with clear rules (eg: At 18 clock is close of business). provide
- In a coaching
- For a healthy life balance, that is, creating a balance between the areas of work, love (partnership / family), community, self, and spirituality.
